Description
Summer Basketball is offered to all girls grades 3-8. Teams will compete against other teams in the surrounding towns. Season will begin early June and run through the middle of July with playoffs and a championship scheduled towards the end of July. Old Tappan will be hosting the Championship this year. 

Games are played in the evening, Sunday through Friday. Game times are 6:30, 7:30 or 8:30. Typically 3/4 plays at 6:30, 5/6 plays at 7:30 and 7/8 plays at 8:30, but this is not guaranteed. The schedule is set by the league and typically available 1 week before games start. 

PWB-JVG-VB play on Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday
PWG-JVB-VG play on Monday-Wednesday-Friday

PWG/PWB Grades 3/4
JVG/JVB Grades 5/6
VG/VB Grades 7/8

Uniforms: Same rec jersey as previous season.

Practices: Practices during Summer Basketball are not mandatory but encouraged. 

Playing Time: Equal playing time is encouraged during regular season. Playing time is not guaranteed during playoffs. 

IMPORTANT: Registration will close on May 1st. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 1ST. In order to provide the league with an accurate number of players, enough time to arrange coaches, order uniforms and form teams, we will not be accepting any late registrations. Please make every effort to register your child prior to May 1st.

When registering your child for any sport, please do not alter your child's DOB to allow them to play up a grade level. We kindly ask that you register your child for his/her current grade level.
